With today's global economy, more and more people are able to find new job positions in a multitude of different locations.  One of the most common dilemmas people face when relocating is finding the right home in the right area. 

It is a good idea to contact your favorite real estate agent in your current location.  They will conduct interviews, do research and determine the best realtor for you.  It is in their best interest to do so, as they receive a percentage of the other agent's commission.  If you do not have a relationship with a realtor in your current city, ask your friends to refer you to someone they trust. 

Remember, a real estate agent's commission is paid for by the seller at close of escrow.  It is factored into the price of the home.  Having buyer's representation does not cost you anything extra, and can be very beneficial to you.
